Robots that help Teach and Encourage Learning
while the Children Play

NO ADULT SUPERVISION NEEDED OR REQUIRED
Kids Play in a SAFE Offline Environment

Most modern educational robotics are at best a box of parts and a thick book
Contemporary teaching methods are still considered "boring work" by children

At “OPEC of the West” we are turning that learning compass around and making learning a fun play session designing robot tools and peripherals that can be handled by the smallest child so they can learn needing only minimal adult supervision or guidance.

A fun and safe gaming environment where children can see and understand the value of learning not just the 3 R's to improve their play performance ... where fun becomes the carrot to success ...

Phase 1

Start with a RoboTargetBot;
The autonomous preprogrammed box to control the targets you use to build a target arcade shooting gallery the beginning of your robot gaming arena/maze.

Moms, Dads and kids simply draw, print, or paint your own foregrounds and backgrounds on paper and past them on used cardboard boxes.

CellaTape the target sensors in place on your home-made gaming arena.

Plug-in the 6V DC center + wall adapter for power.

Now start shooting at the targets with an eye safe laser pointer or eye safe laser wielding robot.

Next mom and dad can use the R2PRTBv1 RoboTargetBot to enhance learning using the performance/reward capabilities built into the programming.

Phase 2

Buy one of the RCMB Robots:
Choose a R/C TailDragger MonsterBot, or a R/C SpiderBot MonsterBot, or a R/C FlipFlop MonsterBot, or a R/C OffCenterWheel MonsterBot.

Convert the shooting gallery from a flat wall of targets into a 3D maze of targets on the floor of the living room … under the chairs and tables … the whole house can become a very interesting and complex of gaming themes.

Get the friends to come over bringing their own RCMBs and start playing eye safe laser tag robot games against each other and the gaming maze.

Phase 3

Upgrade to the “Gunner’s Position”:
The “Gunner’s Position” is a wireless camera and eye safe laser sharpshooter rifle to the top of your RCMB to put you in the First Person Shooter mode. You and your friends are ripping around the growing gaming arenas you build using a computer or TV screen developing the 3rd person presence and remote control skills … one more step towards telepresences skills you will use in the future.

Phase 4

Buy one of the Autonomus R2Pv1 Robots:
Now gaming requires the user to protect their autonomous gaming vehicle from other robots but cannot directly steer the autonomous robot that seeks the enemy HomeBase to "Capture the Flag" and take it back to the teams HomeBase or CaptureZone to win the game.

Phase 5

Buy more of the Robots & Gaming Arena Peripherals:
This is to expand on your initial gaming arena to allow for many kids to be involved in team play with one giant gaming arena more complex than any online game could ever seek to achieve.

With the primary R2Pv1 Autonomous and Remote Controlled First Person Shooter Gaming Robot you get one robot that can play many robot games ...
